Why are pistol caliber SMGs beating AR/AK platforms in mid range combat!?

So, this baffles me. I'm constantly killed by an smg from mid range, it takes more shots for my AK to get a kill than an smg at mid range, will this be addressed??

@HawkeyeAM47 its unbalanced for sure and cant do anything than hope they do something about soon

@HawkeyeAM47 because just as it was in BFV RPM is and will forever be the most important metric for DICE

Always has been since BC2. This is absolutely nothing new.

  @Terminator000001 must have played a different BC2 because i remember differently..
  but yeah having the K30 with extended mags and near laserbeam accuracy is a no brainer, especially if you go full toxic try hand and play it with Paik/Sundance or McKay....

    I remember perfectly fine. AN-94 deleted everything along with M416 and AEK. Weapons like the M60 were only more present because of it's above average damage for LMGs.
