@Lady_OneOh my goodness, one or two things might be incorrect, one being literally data-mined to figure out the existence of weak spots. Great, and news flash: it's objective if literally everyone agrees it's bad. You and I don't even need to check the contents of the other games because we both know the answer: the game is objectively worse. If you've played BF3, BF: Bad Company, or BF4, it's not even a debate that it has strayed so far from what it was—it's unrecognizable.
As far as realism goes, sure, maybe I like it for not being so childish or "Mickey Mouse.", but holy balls dude, more then TWO HEADSHOTS FROM A LMG. More then four body shots with a 7.62. There is simple no logic or thought. I also double check that the shield does kill in one hit, I haven't seen it not yet.
Moreover, the title is true: it proves that they did everything in their power to hype up a game that should've been illegal to sell for money at launch. It's a bad game—you said it yourself. That's my point. If you and everyone else agrees that it is bad, then it being bad is a fact, thus it is objectively bad.
This game is the worst excuse for a full release, and it's not just me—hundreds of thousands of others agree too.
Theirs is no thought into balances. If their was, it wouldn't needed to be re-worked 4 times in the past 2 years, and is still a joke. They just keeping throwing code at it until it basically doesn't break.
I also noticed alot of shortcuts they took in-game, one being that there is not even a reload animation, for all but the hero, for rocket launchers. They toss it on the ground to avoid having to programing it, nice.
by the way, As I'm playing, as we speak, there is somehow a tank on a tall building, da f***. You should look at what a meme this game is on the internet, some of these are great.
At the in of the day, no excuse is a good excuse for this.

@Lady_OneEvery game will have some bunked up stuff in it, the reason why we can pick apart bf42 is because it is trash even now, it is the worst battlefield game to date, and it is so basic. No game is perfect, we all know, but I bet majority enjoy playing bf4 then bf42, why? because like this post points out, it was a systemic and intentional. I am not sure what your points are other then "some stuff you say isn't 100% true because they fix it", great, the list still goes on, people are unhappy with the fundamental and back bone building blocks of the game. Most people like bf4, what's your argument here? what's your defence for bf42? did you watch any of the videos I sent? Pointing out the "beaming" issues? some about a month ago? Did you count the contents of the games? why? because bf42 is far far lass. Did you look at the in game bullet drops? no you didn't because bf42 has the most unrealistic bullet drop. dude you have no argument. and buddy, I am not sure you understand, even if they fix some of it, it still "represents the collapse of a triple A" Because they still put an unplayable, untested, game out. it was so unplayable they had to spend the next two years making it mid as f**. You are not exactly provening this post to be correct by the way if that's your intentions.
Additionally,I want you to understand something, the game is so bad the the series now hangs on the next bf coming out. If the next battlefield doesn't do good, then it looks like it for battlefield. Think about what it did to the battlefield name, do some research. So ya nothing you have said has proven this post wrong, weather it was at initially lunch, or still in the mid gameplay
@Lady_One Lets use your argument against you, all three of those were 10 years old or older, and they update the game since then, oh your not showing it as is.

I only like a few maps so I try to play those. Hourglass/Discard ehhhhh for me.
