Why can’t I kill people on this game. I was good at battlefield 5. The guns feel terrible people seem to kill me quickly and I have to empty a whole magazine just to get hit markers. It’s starting to really wind me up.

Guns are broken. Bullets aren't going where you are aiming much of the time. Hopefully they understand this as a priority issue because gunplay is the gameplay.

@daniellematti- As Noodlesocks points out, there is significant random bullet deviation, especially on full-auto. BFV had a clear pattern to the deviation of the first five bullets in full-auto. This can be addressed by tap-firing and allowing the gun to settle after a few rounds, although this raises your TTK.I've also noticed quite a lot of packet loss and bad hitreg in general, meaning that insta-deaths are annoyingly common and you can sometimes you can fire entire clips at a player in ADS from even point-blank range and none of the bullets register a hit.The PP-29 is also broken at the moment - it has none of the problems with RBD, great damage with good drop-off values and a 52 round magazine. It outperforms pretty much every other primary weapon in the game. Use it once you unlock it - everyone else is.Then there's the spawn system - the spawn protection is basically non-existent, which means two things: First, the game will spawn you into dangerous situations. If a squadmate starts taking fire in BFV, you will be yeeted back out to the map overview. In 2042, once you're zooming in, that's it - you're going to spawn, often into a hail of bullets. Secondly, it will spawn enemy players directly behind you (or you directly in front of them), whereas in BFV it would spawn the player some way away. It's a bit of a mess, especially when there are twice as many players available for this to happen with.

Definitely have to pull down a bit though when you're going full auto. Burst is always the way to go longer range. Let us know how you're doing with the PP-29 when you unlock it.

Noticed some of that myself when I was gunning. @Trokey66 So far I'm terrible with the DM7 because I spam it. If I can calm down and space out the shots it feels like a great long and short range balanced weapon. There were a few times I came across some players that absolutely wrecked me with it and thought to myself, "yep, they've got that weapon down."@CLOCKTOWER819 Seeing feedback about the SMGs being more better at long range than the community feels they should be, at least here in the forums. @BrokenCompileI think I’m 2 ranks away from unlocking it. As soon as it’s unlocked it’s getting used. I hope they buff the other guns to match it. I’ve been using the PX most of the time

I've found aiming near the gut when firing at them helps recoil into a headshot. Definitely have to pull down a bit though when you're going full auto. Burst is always the way to go longer range.

@EA_Blueberry I’ll give aiming a little bit lower a try. I could control the recoil really well on the M1928A1 (Tommy gun) on BF5. Which is a beast to try and control. I think learning the maps and and better positioning will also help massively.

@Beemerpower waiting for a patch . Because only pp29 is not broken for gunplay . Other weapons ( Almost all ) - broken . Have awful random bloom / spread .

@mihasha89The PP-29 seems to be the most reliable because of bullets not registering, but having such a big clip helps to compensate. It's fun to use and I agree that other guns need to be balanced rather than the PP-29 just getting nerfed to a point its not fun to use.

The M5A3 is still a solid choice, but can be challenging to burst enemies at longer distances. It's nearly as good as the SMG's for hip firing too.

@RaginSamTo be honest , I play two days with dmr . And have a lot of situations , when enemy just stand and don’t move - I start shooting at him , and my shots doesn’t register hits . Those situations repeats all the time , and no matter is - 20 metres , 50 metres , 100 or more . It really sucks .

@mihasha89 Same here. Medium range fights is where I usually aim best and I'm getting frustrated at times with not being able to hit the enemy.

I also use tanks a lot and I'm noticing a lack of hit markers from splash damage even when it's right next to the enemy.

Seems like a lot of people are having similar experiences. Hopefully this gets put at the top of the priority list of fixes. I'm having a blast though. I just can't wait for this to get polished up a bit more.

@mihasha89 Maybe I'm just seeing things here, but I usually rock the SVK and I swear to god I've had it sometimes where my shots are perfect, right on the mark and my bullet just ignores the targets existence. I was playing on Discarded on breakthrough attack last game, aiming onto the last sector and fired all 6 shots into a sniper and only got 1 hit marker and they were right on the money... and then he killed me because of course.
