@Spidder81 and exactly the same can be said for cheaters, they have the tools and little to prevent them doing it so is it OK that they do by your logic?
Just because you can doesn't always mean you should.
Players abused the system and DICE took steps to prevent such abuse, it really is that simple.
@ChugKendall, see above. I disagree that that the easy route should gain 'reward' at a similar rate to the 'harder' route especially when it comes to the likes of weekly missions etc.
@Trokey66"1200 kills and would take less than 12 rounds of Breakthrough to achieve" - if you play the game in a natural or pure way as it is intended then no, it would take much longer than what you claim....but if you're farming yes, that's correct.
"Players abused the system and DICE took steps to prevent such abuse, it really is that simple." - I'm afraid it's not that simple.
You see, when DICE "took steps" they actually broke a good portion of the game's content unlocking system for a good chunk of players. Now of course players who are mostly interested in playing PvP are largely unaffected by this. But those who are focused on mainly playing PvE are affected in a huge way.
This IS a PvE game, lets not forget that fact, and to discount PvE players is what has been happening.
"I disagree that that the easy route should gain 'reward' at a similar rate to the 'harder' route especially when it comes to the likes of weekly missions etc." - you are very welcome to disagree, of course...
...but the terms "easy/hard" are completely relative to the player, his physical and mental ability as related to his age and medical condition, his skill level, the amount of time he spends playing, how he prefers to play the game in which mode/s, who he plays with, and also the bot difficulty settings.
So, what you are suggesting is that just because you think a player is having an easier time of it than you are, that they should be discriminated against? In fact, they may be having a much more difficult time than you are.
That is a double standard, my friend, and then we can turn that around on you very quickly. For example...we can state that playing PvE is the high road to take since it is a more emotionally stable and a healthier way to play with your friends (instead of beating them up and being rewarded for killing them in-game) and therefore should be more highly praised and rewarded and so the game should actually be rewarding PvE players more handsomely than PvP'ers.
So, you're opinion may not necessarily be based on the reality of the situation, lets keep that in mind.
Let's also not forget that one day you, and other PvP'ers, will likely be in our position and wish to mostly play PvE at some later point in your lives...and how are you going to really feel then? Well, if you get treated the way we have been then at the very least you'll likely feel a bit left out and discounted, if you're being honest about it.

I love this. Dice and EA needs to see this because if they don't find this just soooo poignant then every dollar spent on the PvE, both by the publisher and the players, has been for naught, and this thread has been a waste of our time & patience for certain.
