Definitely check for other inputs, and make sure your on the 0 in the cockpit

Thanks all. Got there..... it was the key bindings! Pitch forward had the same binding (mouse movement) as freelook up and roll left, and tilt back had the same as freelook down and roll right. Blowed if I know how, I've not touched them!
