Why do you release a new map 1 day early for streamers only?
Is there any logical reasoning for this? Why not just release it for everybody on the same day? It makes no sense.

Probably for the same reasons that media get early access to new movies, cars, games, tech devices.
You want to maximize awareness of your product just prior to release.

How would that affect the awareness of the product? People are either playing it or they are seeing streamers play it. Either way is a win.
There's literally no logical reason for this.- @Sohsuh Its not "Early access". They're playing separate build of the game available for a select group of people. A closed test if you will.
They don't keep any progress or unlocks from it since their main accounts are not linked to it.
Its just an advertisement move aimed to create more "Hype" around the launch. Most game devs do that.- @UP_LordPlumber Again, if they released it for everybody today, how would that affect the hype around the launch?
