Why do you release a new map 1 day early for streamers only?
Is there any logical reasoning for this? Why not just release it for everybody on the same day? It makes no sense.

A 'Day 1' experience has more appeal than a 'Day 2' experience.
The vids created by these creators will likely reach a few thousand additional people who either forgot S6 launches tomorrow or weren't previously aware. Fringe customers.
This strategy gives that set of fringe customer a touch of extra motivation to check out S6 - as now they get to say "I was one of the first".
You don't see the value because there isn't any for you. This marketing is targeted towards a different group.
@AngrySquid270 So those additional people would find out the same way. The only difference is the people who know about it would be playing right now, which wouldn't change anything.

I will try to simplify: For a certain group of people there is a greater desire to own something if they can't have it (yet).
Where i live, drinking alcohol was prohibited on the beach.
Most young people drank all day on the beach secretly.This year it is legal to consume alcohol on the beach. I haven't seen many people drinking.

Content should be released for everyone on the same day like it used to. No special people just because they play games in front of a camera.People love influencers. There was this one influencer in New York City who said he was going to give away free PS5's and thousands of his followers rioted and hung onto the roof of his car as it sped away.
In the end not a single PS5 was given away.
