But since you didn't damage the passengers, you don't get kill assist points for the passengers, and that is why it doesn't count towards the mission.
But when her rocket hurts the passengers in a LATV, and then the LATV gets blown up, you get kill assist points, which do count.
I'm not so sure about that one. If you get a hit on a full tank for instance and then the tank dies, you get assist credit for all 4 I believe. I could be wrong but memory tells me I'm right 🙂. It's somewhat flawed...
