I was a daily player of battlefield 3&4, favoring helicopters. After the failure of Hardline and further games of ancient warfare, I was overjoyed to find 2042 had returned the franchise to current/futuristic warfare.I agree, as a pilot, the helicopters were overpowered in the beginning. But this recent nerfing of the helicopters makes them entirely ineffective and pointless, returning me to wanting another game.On the stealth heli, it takes half of a clip of explosive rounds to kill 1 infantry, with the damage being nurfed and the clip/usage being dramatically shorter.I was so happy to see 2042 but now find myself wondering if this game is worth playing. What's the point of having helis with no ability to inflict damage on a realistic level?

@DizzyMagnum69 Your post about helicopters being underpowered is 4 above a post about the weaponry being overpowered. (The number will probably change, it was 4 at time of this post). So who’s right? Are helicopters too strong or not strong enough? Are you more interested in just harvesting the enemy or should they have a chance at survival? It’s a combined arms game, nothing should be invincible or overpowered so that both vehicles and infantry can play and have fun doing it. They haven’t figured out the balance yet that’s clear, instead of being powerful maybe there should be more of them? They’ve nerfed the numbers of vehicles more than they nerfed the vehicles themselves. IMO that’s the real issue.

@ATFGunr crank up the heli’s offensive capability and let us kill it with one missile. Sounds fair to me.

@SleepyWeasel68 Considering how the most OP thing about him is his passive faster ADADAD strafing, I think he is should be called Spider-Crab-man.

As about the stealth helicopters, I think they are a lot better now that they are more of a glass cannon that can be more quickly destroyed if it gets in a head on fight than before.

@Padding_Ur_Stats Little defense? if you consider having TV guided missiles, stingers, soflam, anti air tanks and the annoying NTW-50 as little defense i don't know what to tell you.
And that is without taking into account the osprey and hind which are still broken

I do consider those little defense. See red response
In short as long as KD is being used as a boost to self esteem, Air has little to worry about. If KD was not a stat, I think your above response would be accurate.
All that being said, the little defense comment was being applied to the infantry you farm.
