@JOGAGATYAIn old maps, most objectives are closer to each other there's no real useless space where you have to run for 5 mins without seeing anyone to get to the next site. Don't get me wrong some maps did make you run for 5mins straight but i didn't consider those maps good either.
Stranded objectives seems to be closer to each other and i haven't played enough of Stranded to say anything about the gameplay. I'm just not a fan of the art style of the shipping containers everywhere.
I don't think all new maps are bad and some of them are getting a rework which is great. But let's take Exposure for exemple. In 64 players you have 2 sites at the bottom of the map and the rest is up top. That means they expect players (infantry) to run all the way back to the top once they captured the objective down there. You'll also notice there's less players at those objective.
And they already designed so many maps in older battlefield, bringing back some of the old one would give them more time to develop new maps that are enjoyable and maybe releasing a bundle and not 1 at a time.
