Why is the tornado in every map?

It honestly feels like we aren't countries at war, but tornado chasers fighting each other to get data like in Twister before the other side does.  There is no reason this thing should be in every map and always be a thing.  It's become just a dead horse that was beat down so hard it's part of the dirt and unrecognizable.  If you wanted to do fun unique things, you should have stuck with BF4s nifty global events.
