@lucky_dutch+1 I've been playing COD warzone for months on Xbox w/ kb&m, it's fantastic! It feels just like a PC you cannot tell the difference in game. I'm still terrible at the game and I get see destroyed by players on Console/ controller all the time but I'm able to play with my PC friends again without thousands of dollars spent on a new PC. I feel ashamed for purchasing BF2042 just assuming kb&m support would be there. I literally played one match on controller and gave up.. back to COD until they right this wrong.
If you think 2042 they an have an unfair advantage you should try Halo Infinite Multiplayer against PC with Halos crazy long TTK, its even more evident there as multiple accurate hits become even more important and M&K destroy controller in that, and its been said crossplay will be locked on for the life of that game
Crossplay should be between consoles only
- HillbillyJohn4 years agoSeasoned Veteran@FG44141 I thought Halo Infinite had input based matchmaking?

@HillbillyJohnNot that I know of when I've been playing it. In the team chat I've been on teams with people on pc playing with keyboard and communicated with opposite team afterword to confirm what they were using etc.
EDIT: Just checked input based matchmaking is in Ranked solo only.
It's meant to have SBMM but most matches I've been in have monster team stomps with multiple people on teams having 12-17 KDA so that obv is not working right- HillbillyJohn4 years agoSeasoned Veteran@FG44141 Ah ok, gotcha.
- 4 years ago@FG44141 I need to try the new Halo, I think it also supports kb&m on console. I've never tried any of the Halo multiplayer only played through some campaigns on coop

@MTFULemmingYou should try it, it's great, funny leading up to release everyone panned the graphics, but it turns out the graphics are miles ahead of 2042.
As a BF veteran the only thing that annoys me is the super long TTK in Halo so taking on multiple enemies at a time is almost impossible, you got to try and get a player 1v1 a lot of time in battle.
There is a custom mode you can create and you can set the TTK yourself me and some friends set the TTK to half and this game was absolutely incredible!
I wish they would do that to the main mode but obviously the Halo fan base like it where it is and unlike Dice, they listen to their fan base rather than being tone deaf - HillbillyJohn4 years agoSeasoned Veteran
@MTFULemmingI haven't tried kb&m but it's in the menu.

@FG44141"and its been said crossplay will be locked on for the life of that game" You chitin me? I'm starting to hate it BECAUSE of crossplay with PC and their BS pinpoint accuracy jumping and everything, getting lasered with the BR almost across the map, also much easier for them using the power weapons/vehicle gun accuracy as well.

I play on the XSX, and the only way that I have worked around this issue is to downgrade to the Xbox One. Atleast that way, its consoles only lobbies. However, we shouldn't have to downgrade to improve our experience. Now im missing out on good graphics and bigger maps, and better battles. Idk what DICE was thinking....

Why is it so hard to matchmake based on input device?
…..Fortnite and many games have done this for years!

Since november and nothing!
this is the biggest problem of this game, with slow soldier run speed.
other suggestions:
1- 64 player servers with PS5, PS4 PRO, PS4, XBOX Series S/X and One S/X. (no PC).
2- Servers with mouse and keyboard only or PC players only.
3- Servers with controller only (without PC, because with hacks they can made a mouse be recognized as a controller for windows).
look at BF4 and BF1 servers in americas, I have both games here... a lot of full 64 servers, about 15 in BF1 and about 5/6 on BF4 at night.
I will not buy a mouse and keyboard just to play this game, I bought my PS5 to play on my couch and tv, and I work my entire day with mouse and keyboard, many other people do the same too.

no on dragging xbox one and ps4 into your issues! the tech advantage would completely kill off the ps4 and xbox one versions (less powerful hardware, slower network cards etc). we (current gen consoles) have a nice thing going leave us out of your problems

Had crossplay turned ON for a few weeks now. It's playable but there's a definite handicap. PC interface just allows for too much accuracy, on top of whatever boosters they're running 'under the hood' Just cant compete with it.
Thankfully the PS5 playerbase is large enough to support itself. I don't ever want crossplay with PC as there's too many issues on their side to deal with. PS5/XBOX combined should be enough to support the game.
- 3 years ago@FG44141 Definitely agree. Literally have no idea why they are against giving us console only option other than it would have to kill PC lobbies but atleast let's try it and see
