Why is there no Console Only Cross-Play?
We should get console crossplay only so me and my friend can play together without being killed every 2 seconds by some xtreme fast pcplayer.
they have unfair advantages over console players…
please fix this

- @ArchAngeL-PCX They do. Doesn't take me more than 10-12 seconds to find a game with crossplay disabled on Ps5.
I actually find matches faster on Ps5 with crossplay disabled than I do on PC with crossplay on. - @BizzyVaping that’s probably because of your location. Me and my friends connect from Asia pacific region. If we turn off cross play, there are no servers to play AoW Breakthrough. Tried to do so from day one and have not gotten into a single game. We try the cross play off thing every day, just to see if it works - but it doesn’t, so we go back to turning on cross play.
The easiest fix I can imagine here is to turn off cross play on consoles by default. Right now it’s on by default. Console players can’t find matches if it’s off - so they just keep it on. At least that’s me and my friend’s experience since early access started.
Actually they made it so Console players get a massive recoil reduction compared to PC.
Console players basically have double the effective range when holding down the fire button compared to a PC player.
There was a video showing the difference and is quite jarring

This is very annoing and a turn off from Battlefield 2042. I have already a couple of friends who stopped playing from how frustrating this is. Controllers cannot compete with mouse and keyboard. The only solution for console players is to disable crossplay. However, if one does this, its nearly impossible to find a match with only their specific console players. When trying to start a match, it says "waiting for players to join," but the game never starts.
To fix this, DICE needs to limit PC players to only controllers, excluding mouse and keyboard. The other solution is to exclude PC players from crossplay with console players. Let only Xbox Series X players and PS5 players duke it out.

Be less entitled. You've got an option already to disable it. You're not entitled to anything in life. Deal with it.
I've been trying to find matches with crossplay turned off since the early access and never found a single match. It wasn't a problem during the beta so I guess ir could be some server issue!? Not sure.
The thing is , as someone pointed out , cross play should be disable by default or either they need to make a console only option. And if they decide to implement mouse and keyboard on consoles they must add controller lobbies only
Make Pc players use a controller? Thats your solution?...um no thanks. My mouse and keyboard probly costs as much as your 500ish dollar console. So no thanks.
Why is it so hard to matchmake based on input device?
