Why is there no score board after the round. yes some of the score things are neat to see but why don't I get to see my actual kills/deaths. I don't want a participation trophy. I want to know how many I killed and how many killed me. it can't be that hard to code a score board. and why is the chat broke between sides. it feels like I am playing world of Warcraft and I am not aloud to talk to the hoard. how am I supposed to trash talk the other team if I can't talk to them. there also needs to be a way for my whole clan/ group of friends to join the same server even if we are on different sides, without having to resort to portal. i would be fine with portal if I would get xp on the guns I am using. this no xp for guns is *. if you want people to continue to play this game there are quite a few things that need to be addressed. BF4 was the last good BF. BF1 sucked and so did 5. now you have the potential of a mind blowingly good game here and then you just put out this crap and expect it to sell. I bought mine through steam. I tried to get a refund because I was so disappointed and they denied me because I played it longer than 2 hours so now I am stuck with a game I preordered because I was told it would be great, and it just isn't. it is mediocre at best.

It was a cynical design decision for the sole purpose of extracting the most money for the least effort in the shortest time."Kinda sums 2042 up for me at least.

What's wrong with a legacy feature if it's a good one? We must resist this direction or we will be stuck with it in this and future Battlefields.

@buzzed1979 For the same ⭐ excuse YouTube removed the dislike counter on videos. Only problem is that this isn't as simple for us to fix as installing a widget or whatever to bypass EA/DICE's idiocy.

@buzzed1979 From what I understand It's so some players don't feel hurt, let down and insecure about their performance at the end of the game. In my opinion it's a massive own goal but I'm virtually 100% sure this will be back some time soon, well hopefully next update.

@David6479 There is chat with teammates.. and squad.. or do you mean voice chat? If so, yeah good question.
No scoreboard means less focus on kd stats and hopefully more focus on winning the round.

@mesterKG Yeah, sorry I should have said. I find the text chat too slow and clunky on console and usually die messaging. I'm not for one to be the squad leader but would follow more dynamic orders through voip.
I just find it completely bizarre regarding the scoreboard and the reason behind it. The whole game is setup for unlocks due to kills, revives, repairs and so on but is kept hidden at the most important time, in my opinion. The end always feels empty and hollow, no talking, no gg text, just a goofy line up with points. An exciting win is followed by a "wake" after a funeral is best way to describe it.

@David6479I heard that excuse/explanation before, but I simply don't get it.

If the removal of the scoreboard would have been about the 'not wanting to hurt feelings' thing, then what about the many MORE players that got the middle finger when DICE decided to call this feature that almost all of us deem essential to ANY competitive FPS a 'legacy feature'. This at least hurts MY feelings. And I guess many other players feel the same and I would also bet that there are MORE players that feel hurt by the removal of the scoreboard that those few that would be 'hurt' if the pressed TAB by accident and saw they had a bad K/D.

As written before: the scoreboard has more functions that just checking ones own K/D. It also serves as a tool to confirm suspected cheaters. And IF someone cannot deal with seeing her K/D, then just don't press TAB and don't look at the damn thing. It is not forced on you. Just don't show it at the end of the round to everyone not interested but let people select the 'scoreboard'-tab like in BF5. Problem solved.

You do realise that you can still see your kills and deaths when you press Tab, right?
