- Psubond4 years agoLegend@Kyosji this is all on breakthrough so it may not work on conquest: what i do is watch patterns of the drivers. many times they will just keep running the same circuit. the start of a match is also a great time to put some mines out because people often take the same (fastest) route to a flag. the little ramps on hourglass to get down to the A2 flag (on xbox one, not sure if it is same on 128 player map) work, the tunnel under the crawler on orbital or to the left or right side (more shadows on right side so that works better imo). kaleidoscope is tougher but if you put them on the roads coming out of RU spawn you can often pick off people in jeeps or bolts trying to get road kills. discarded you just have to watch patterns and place them as needed there (don't put them where helos spam rockets, they will blow them up. the main thing is watch patterns of the drivers. humans are creatures of habit, people like specific vehicles and tactics for getting kills with them so you just have to watch and take what they give you

Back to the Bolte…
It needs driver protection from one shot kills. And if you are nerfing the guns you need stop nerfing the speed. It has no top end and a sitting duck for air craft.
Or just remove it…

It definitely should not be a OSK for the driver. The first shot should break the glass, then a second shot is needed for the kill. Pistol and SMG should not be able to break the glass and AR/LMG should need several rounds to break the glass before exposing the driver.
On the flip side, the Bolte should be much less effective after being hit by an M5. A shot to the top should disable the gunner weapon and a shot to the body or tracks should reduce the speed until repaired.
There should also be a hard limit on the amount of Boltes a team can have at one time.
