I am curious to know people's opinion about the LMGs. I don't know why someone would use one over the other weapons. The only benefit is that you have a lot of bullets in a clip. Otherwise than that, I see no point in using them. I personally believe Dice should implement some form of suppression for the LMG. For at the moment, shooting at a sniper with a LMG is a death wish.
@Calamity645 I think you just explained why in your question - suppression - that is essentially the purpose of LMG, MMG and HMG.
I have been constantly using LMGs since BF3. My most fav is M240B and MG-42. Now I use PKP. One of the reasons I always use them is I have a lot of bullets and I can always easily resupply it as a support 😉.
But the main reason I use it is: I was using LMGs as an infantry officer in the ground forces of an army not gonna tell which one.
