Will Battlefield 2042 be playable with a mouse and keyboard on Box series S

@SF-Tebaggins So you are saying that Microsoft is providing cheating tools by allowing kb&m on Xbox? Part of the problem?! You should think about what you are saying, it doesn't make sense.
By the way, Sony also allows keyboard and mouse.
The problem that I see is people who are not willing to accept/adapt to changes. Keyboard and mouse on consoles is a reality and it is growing fast!
Again, if you think you have a HUGE disadvantage, by all means plug your keyboard and mouse and be happy.

@Tifanofauvo Hm "adapt to change" would that not be you m&k users that can't 'ADAPT' and use a controller and play fairly like mostly everyone else on console using a controller?

@TankerFlanker Good point. Yes, that is case for several games including FPS like Battlefield V. I have to use Xbox controller because there is no other option.
However there are better options and if we can, why not use it?
Wouldn't you use a racing wheel in racing game if you have available? Wouldn't it be a better experience?

@Tifanofauvo One reason people use a racing wheel in RACING games is to feel more immersed, a m&k on console is going to do nothing for immersion in a FPS game except give an unfair advantage over people using a controller. If anything the controller would be the better option seeing as the new dual sense on PS5 is pretty crazy with it's different vibrations to feel what's going on in a game.

@VOLBANKER_PC I moved from PS3 to PC from BF3 to BF4. The thing that I could not stand not having in the consoles is the chat box and the larger draw distance.
It is about more than aiming. The chat box made the game have a lot more soul to me

@UP_Hawxxeye Ok. For me it was a relief to get rid of the chat. You can have fun with others on the chat, which I always enjoyed myself, however I got tired of all the negativity and abuse that comes with the chat box also.

Sorry but it is not possible to agree with you about M&K being cheating on Console.
ex: I have a friend who is left handed and for many tries and efforts he still prefers controller over M&K even on Pc
the aim assist in games is OP, after someone mastered the L2+R2 combo game is easy for controller.
Have you played Cod recently in console lobbies only with M&K enabled?
you will get shredded by controller sweaties even playing with m&K

with that said if I play on my monitor instead of my tv with 400ms of input lag I am cheating?

I consider this cheating:
Xim apex + aim assist
Cronus max with macros

I own a Pc and at this point I will also not be able to upgrade my gpu because of the insane prices (still hoping for better days) but,
from my group of friends all console players i am the only one that has one, and i would like to play with friends with my prefered input.

last:
-by adding M&K support it might introduce this input for ppl who always played with controllers
-it might deter ppl buying the above mentioned cheating devices
-and Help ppl with disabilities too so they can also enjoy the game
