Input based matchmaking is allready a thing in several games as Warzone and Halo where you also have the fredom yourself to limit matchmaking to the same input method as yourself or matchmake with all. Playstation can also use mouse and keyboard, it's up to the game developer. Halo also has icons for input usage on the scoreboard so you know what input devices People are using.
Of course other hardware than just controler gives you advantages. For example ultra wides gives you I wider field of view than other players thats why I use one.And by the way you are putting it, if you use input devices the game does not allow it's cheating, but what if it allows it, it's not cheating anymore? Its the developers choice and if they put it there it's not cheating.
and even if they chose not to support it, there will be those third party semi-cheat devices that support it.
The best way to control a situation is to keep it legal and regulated.
Serious question, not being a d*
If someone hates/severely dislikes using a controller for gaming.....why even have a console?
Wouldn't it make more sense to have a pc to roll games if using a keyboard and mouse are a must have?

@SOCOMDEATHDEALR Because PC is overrun with cheaters. That's why I'm switching from PC to PlayStation 5 and I'm taking my mouse with me.

@SOCOMDEATHDEALR That above and PC gaming can be quite expensive these days when you add everything up. And I mean everything. PC, decent mouse and keyboard, headset, monitor, chair, desk. Consoles are still the cheaper alternative.

You can literally build a battlefield capable gaming PC for as much as a console.
- 4 years ago@Uarebadatfifa The recommended GPU and the processor alone costs more than a console to play on recommended settings and recommended specs usually means 1080p 60fps. Need to spend even more to buy a motherboard, PSU, RAM, cooling fans, casing and assembly. And what about the people who already own a console? You expect them to put more money to get a PC and have the console collect dust?
Besides what's your problem with a M&K support? If you want to play with a controller, then play with a controller? M&K is just an option for us to play with other M&K (PC). No reason for you to be against it. If you still want people to play with a PC, then deliver us one or stop suggesting.
