Will Battlefield 2042 be playable with a mouse and keyboard on Box series S

Now that I know crossplay has opt-out feature, I'm not sure if I should buy a PlayStation 5 or Xbox SX. I'll probably buy both at the same time and keep whichever one feels better with a mouse.

I'm leaning towards Xbox because it has 1440p support and Variable Refresh Rate support. Plus DICE hasn't mentioned anything about using Tempest 3D audio on PlayStation 5.

For me it will probably come down to best mouse support.

Great news about the Crossplay, I think that means mouse+kb support is a given but maybe hold out buying until Dice/EA specifically mention it. 

Once I heard the news about crossplay support I went to my PS5 and tested my keyboard and mouse to find that the PS5 doesn't support it.. I'd suggest others do the same thing also and getting onto Xbox/Playstation requesting them to add the support if not already supported.

I hope it does. You have to be super poor if you do not own a damn M&K be smart and also it will happen in the future. You can not an wont stop it from happening

You've also gotta be "super poor", if you dont own a M&K and a PC 🙌

EA has confirm that BF 2042 will support crossplay betwen PC and next gen consoles. 
EA do you give us mouse and keyboard support like in cod or yours crossplay will be sensless? 

We cant play on controllers with mouse&keyboard payers but we want play with friends from PC. 
Can i play bf2042 with mouse and keyboard on Xbox Series X??
