Banned for COMPETITIVE_ADVANTAGE??

My BF2042 has been banned.. in my account data it says this ??

Ban reason: COMPETITIVE_ADVANTAGE

I am only playing battlefield in Coop mode with my son locally (with bots)

what the freak??? i dont think i ever played it online.. and now they just ban me ??

I disputed it, and they just enforced the ban ? - how can they just do this, it isnt because of cheats or anything else..

i only have Geforce experience, steam, logitech G hub and streamDeck app installed on my Windows 11 pc

so now i am not able to play with my son anymore... great stuff EA .. really great.

do anyone have contact details so i can get in touch with a real human at EA instead of this apparently BOT/AI system they have for disbuting

I have had my account since 2009 and all my other Battlefield games works without issues...

i have about 100 hours in BF2042 - i really dont care about progress etc. since i am just playing for fun with my son.

So BF2042 has an expiration date for players if they play to much apperently they get a "competative advantage" BAN ?????

    Welcome to the club, looks like you and I have some common software, GeForce, and Steam. I have spoken to three people who are part of or lead the anticheat team at EA, and they are fully investigating right now. I have mentioned that in the past 4 months, looking at the forum here, on Steam, and Reddit, there are numerous individuals banned out of the blue, and some people have been playing Battlefield titles for 20+ years. Why would people be hacking on their main accounts? Either way, they are looking into it.

    Completely understand the frustration, sadly theres nothing we can do here on the forums regarding in game bans. 

    If you believe the ban is incorrect you'll need to get in touch with our ToS team to appeal.

    You can do that by following the steps here

    I already did that but the case just says "Fixed" but it still has the ban status :-(

    i am really disappointed with this... 8 years ago my account got hacked - and back then i could call EA support directly and the issue was resolved within 10 minutes - great customer services... now it feels like everything is just runned by bots/ai... and if EA systems decide it.. you no longer have a game which you paid for (even though they show no proof our voilating terms etc.)

    The appeals process will go nowhere. Neither will filing a complaint with BBB. 

    EA is hot garbage. Im waiting for them to start banning people from the forums just for talking about it.

    Hi PastaPowerWOOOO,

    Provided that no forum rules are broken, nobody would be banned for discussing this topic. 

  • I played, so I got banned locally by bots, wow, how they treat players, I played for 145 hours, I was happy, I decided to remember how to play this part, I played, I went out, I re-signed the op and they gave me a ban without specifying the reason

    well I wish the same was true for banning accounts from games but it's not, so you really can't know what to expect on a forum owned by the same corporation. 

  • I wrote to them about this situation, they said that they would sort it out and so they unbanned me.

    They just decline my disputes without any text or reason :-(

    3 times i recieved a bot answer in the form of "what means this" and case declined, makes no sense.. no one at ea are able to help, this sucks

    I was able to get my account unbanned again, idk how. I suggest going to LinkedIn and finding individuals that work at EA and messaging them.
