Will Battlefield 2042 PC version Support Ps4 controller

Hi i am holding back on Preordering for this one question. I would like to know if the Pc Version of Battlefield 2042 will support PS4 controller natively without any software to make it work?

    @dreamseeker340It worked fine in the technical playtest as did the PS5 controller.

    I play on PC and use both controller and m&k depending on my mood. And all the controllers I tried during the playtest worked fine. Only issue was that when using a PS controller you still saw xbox icons. But that's the case with a lot of PC games even though they have native PS controller support they still just show you xbox buttons.

    May i know how does the aiming look like with the controller? Is there any form of aim assist to slow the aim down when you aim near a target? Thanks

    @oasis1701 Is it just mnk on pc i cant connect my controller to this game on pc it wont pick it up. Ive tried practically everything

    Well BF2042 is out now and PS4/PS5 controllers both don't work neither through steam, DS4, nor x360ce

    Same here, beta=ok, and now my soldier look is feet all the time, tried everything !!! I need to know if somebody made it works ?

    GUYS ... I GOT MY PS4 CONTROLLER TO WORK!!

    1) use an emulator called X360CE (https://www.x360ce.com/)

    2) make sure before running BF2042 that no USB device connected to your motherboard other than keyboard and mouse

    3) run the emulator as ADMINSTRATOR and add/calibrate the PS4/PS5 controller

    4) run BF2042 and voila! 

    It should be working as long as you follow the above steps

    No it will not. At least that I've been able too. Numerous videos online about launching through Steam etc. None of them work. I've requested a refund. Highly disappointed in this game.

    It worked fine in the beta, the xbox one works fine, ps4 doesn't.

    Shouldn't need an emulator or w/e virus you're peddling
