Will BF 2042 have any sort of anti-cheat solution? Given that the previous installment in the series (BFV) has absolutely no form of anti-cheat, I'm a bit skeptical about this one. I'm aware of this...

They are not going to hire a AC company, they should but they will not, the game will be full of cheaters and EA will do nothing as always.
If they want to mitigate it I do recommend battle eye AC
Why should EA bother with making a better anti-cheat?
PC players buy EA games anyway, and right now with BF2042, you got 99% of the Youtubers raving because of Portal etc.
Apparently very few people care about the lacking anti-cheat.

I do and are not getting BF2042 unless there is a new and working AC or rental servers. But I do agree that most PC players are going to buy the game anyway and then come to the forum and complain just to se the thread getting closed.The fact EA close any thread discussing the issue of cheating tells you all you need to know.
