BF V put me off of buying 2042, the cheating is endemic. According to EA Canada the only way to do anything about the cheat situation would be to rewrite their game engine from the ground up, which they have no intention of doing. Explains why they're pushing the pre-order so hard.
They do not need to rewrite the engine, they just need to hire a decent AC company like battleye.
