Will BF 2042 have any sort of Anti Cheat?
Will BF 2042 have any sort of anti-cheat solution? Given that the previous installment in the series (BFV) has absolutely no form of anti-cheat, I'm a bit skeptical about this one. I'm aware of this...

@N7-Vulcan It's true BFV is riddled with cheaters. And when you look at what's been happening in Apex and TitanFall, this should be a real concern going into launch of BF2042. My only personal solace is that I'm on console which theoretically should be safer from cheating. But then Apex just banned a few thousand cheaters, over 90% were on PS4. So maybe it's not that safe? lol

Found it. They were banned for exploiting a matchmaking bug.
And Dashboarding. Which refers to players who force-close their game to avoid receiving ranked points (RP) penalties upon losing.

- @OskooI_007 Yeah so it was specific to ranked. But from what I understand, console cheaters aren't detectable. Basically, there are devices that hook into controllers that spoof the input to the console. It will send the signals necessary to essentially give something like no recoil to the player, but as far as the console knows, it's just seeing normal control stick adjustments. Apparently they are being used in Warzone, and likely Apex Legends if I had to guess. There are a lot of people complaining about no recoil players.
