Will BF2042 become the best BF ever or are we too demanding these days?

They're changing the formula a lot with this game so it could easily go either way. My fear is that it's going to end up like Battlefield 5 with a mish mash of different game design philosophies where all the new ideas and features will clash with old game design that results in a multitude of conflicting gameplay styles that don't really satisfy anyone.
