Will Hardcore mode be in Battlefield 2042?
Very curious to know if anyone has an idea if Hardcore mode will make its way into Battlefield 2042. Battlefield V had it come in a very late update. I am hoping it comes right off the start of 2042....

As far as I'm a deep Hardcore player, with the inteoduction of BF Portal I don't see the probleme if yes or no they're going to add an "official hardcore mode".

That's true, and it's good that they allow custom servers but I want official and ranked. Unless they've change it, you don't gain XP on custom games/servers.
- @vitaminbp1 Yes you can get full XP in Portal depending on how the settings are (in order to prevent XP farming exploits).
There are also premade modes for Portal (that would give full XP since they are made by DICE) and I am 99% sure that Hardcore will be one of them.
So as I said it should be good enough for you 🙂

- You will be able to set up your own Server in Portal and it should have advanced settings so you can make your own Hardcore Mode Server. 🙂
