bro. I think you're taking it a little to personal. If you get that upset over someone teabagging you for a couple seconds than I'm sorry but that's on you. I hope they come back and teabag me after i did it to them. That's vengeance. They probably get a huge dopamine rush when they get they kill.
It's not toxic or offensive. I hate how the gaming culture is now because I feel like I constantly have to walk on eggshells to protect these sensitive little feelings.
It should really be an achievement under the name "dipping nuts".

And I guess you also want to have a medal to show off for your 'double dipping' habits? 😂
A pair of gold plated gonads would look pretty good as a medal!

I think you've presented the case quite well. To add to that, Teabagging should not be an immutable aspect of BF gaming, especially in light of the Play Charter. To be clear, what people do in private servers is largely their business but in public servers I think we need to revaluate what is acceptable behavior. But first we have to agree upon what Teabagging is. To me it's when you intentionally and repeatedly crouch on someone's live player body or corpse (friend or foe) with the intent of simulating dipping your digital genitals on or in very close proximity to them. I do NOT consider crouching repeatedly away from the corpse/live body to be Teabagging nor do I think that the simple act of crouching over the body alone to be an offense as there are plenty of times when it may be necessary to crouch, even potentially repeatedly, during legitimate gameplay.
I would hope that we can all agree that sexual harassment and sexual assault are serious, harmful and ignominious offenses. Having said that, so is shooting someone in the head or running them over with a tank. The difference is that the latter are related to combat and are aligned with the theme of the game while the former are not (although sadly sexual crimes are all too often perpetuated during war). In other words, someone has a reasonable expectation, based on the theme of military combat, that there will be firefights and conventional violence. There should be no surprises based on EA's marketing. The same cannot be said for sexual assault/harassment. Now if the game was created with controversial sexual themes in mind then I'd have no objections. As long as everyone knows what they are getting into and everyone's of age then have at it.
We'd do well to remember that there are a lot of younger gamers playing these games. What type of example do we want set for them? That sexually shaming another player is fine and just part of the spoils of war?
What probably started as joke between friends has devolved into the de facto method to establish dominance and disrespect your opponent and is anathema to EA's efforts to introduce a more civilized atmosphere. I hope the people who are downplaying and minimalizing it will have a good think on it and come to some new conclusions.

@CyberDyme Yeah, killcam is critical. Mostly for spotting hackers rather than anything else…
I agree with both of those statements. Killcam is great for cheater-spotting, and I don't want to see anyone banned for tea-bagging--but I will probably lose a little bit of respect.
- @FantasticKevin I prefer to call it celebratory crouching ;-) but seriously I doubt reports about teabagging will be taken seriously. We were teabagging back in Quake 1 in '96 and probably earlier so it's an intrinsic part of FPS culture at this point. Just don't be toxic about it.
My only caveat is reports will ultimately contain the full context, so if you're teabagging while being toxic in other ways it is possible that you will be banned. EA takes their Fairplay initiative and making gaming a welcoming place very seriously so be a good sport.
