I think discussing what is in the season pass will go a long way with helping people choose which edition is best for them. Is it cosmetic only? Will new specialists be only included with the season pass? I assume maps and weapons will be free for everyone.
Elite's in V just had a melee wep and a backstory blurb there wasn't any perk attached. It does sound like the next game could be more pay to win but I don't know what a battlepass is >.>
@Zv_x_iNFaMuZ Hey, Specialists will be available to everyone and anyone whether you pay for a season pass or not, so no they are not only available to season pass owners.
So they are avoiding any kind of pay to win type stuffs.
Anything regarding any extra payments (microtransactions) will be for cosmetic items, say extra skins for your player. I get the impression that is what the paid for season pass is (only cosmetic items/ skins) and a predetermined amount and set ones.
(I am assuming) there will be cosmetic items/ skins outside of said paid for season pass that would be available for more money too.
So far maps, specialists, weapons are free and available to everyone and anyone who will play/ buy even just the standard version of the game for the lifetime of the game, at least that's the impression I get.
I would wait man until they give more specifics (and also try out the open beta for yourself when it becomes available, before committing to extras)
I'm sure July 22nd a lot more info will be shared, there is always the possibility and likelihood of an option to buy the season pass if you so choose in game.
also you could always pre order and get those extras say like up to 2 days before release , something like that.

It's been confirmed that the season pass will only include cosmetic items, and not including Specialists or some sort of things cause it should not be any sort of "Pay To Win".
