@BizzyVapingThats quite the foolish comment. There are a few of us that have had enough. EA has changed for the worse. Theyre not just a game publisher anymore. Theyre part of whats making this world go down the drain and I and many others wont support it anymore. It goes far beyond Battlefield and well, like I said, I wont support it.
So you're saying if the perfect game came out to raving reviews from gaming media and the users, then you would skip it because there's an EA logo on the box?
That seems quite foolish.

Depends on what they do with 2042: If they rescue this game I will look at BF7, but certainly no more Pre-orders, this was the final time I'll ever make that mistake... with EA.
- 4 years ago@BizzyVaping Like Jedi Fallen Order you mean? Depends. EA has lost the benefit of the doubt with me. But in general, yeah. The only thing EA understands is money. Someone feeling strongly enough should absolutely not buy from them regardless. Besides, there's plenty of other outstanding options.

I don't really like EA, but saying I would never buy another game from them makes no sense as I have no clue what they'll do in the future. - 4 years ago
The short answer was No.
A little longer answer will be:
- I will never preorder again (and I didn't do it this time either).
- I may consider playing another new Battlefield again, if it deserves the brand "Battlefield".
- I don't think I will buy such a new game, but maybe rent it via using Gamepass or EAPlay.
- Especially it makes no sense buying something from EA if they keep blocking me from BF2042 and don't tell me (or anyone else) why they do it, i.e. clearly state what kind of software led to their verdict of "cheating" (as they stand very alone with that opinition), or at least admit that their EAC implementation is as buggy as the game itself.
- 4 years ago@BizzyVaping Well, its kind of deeper than that. If EA released the "perfect game", be it whatever category, BF or not, would mean that EA has changed it ways, changed for the better. Sure I could get on board then but I hold my values. I cannot support someone I morally disagree with no matter how great of a product they create. I feel that I (and many others) have been lied to about this whole 2042 thing and its the last straw. For several years now EA has done things I dont like or disagree with but ive been able to look past that because its been more on a personal level or rather, preferential.
Hypothetically lets say your neighbor, who you know to be an absolute garbage person, maybe a drug dealer, has a yard sale. You buying anything from them? What about if theyre selling something you really, really want? Probably not because you have morals... You know in the end youre going to be supporting someone or something you strongly disagree with.
