They didn't learn after Anthem...
Yes, I will look for the next BF. BUT I do NOT preorder anything from EA again and I will not buy the next BF if it isnt a true BF IMO.

Definitely not with a preorder as I've done over the years. After this, I can't be quite sure what I'll be getting.
- @BizzyVaping Well, its kind of deeper than that. If EA released the "perfect game", be it whatever category, BF or not, would mean that EA has changed it ways, changed for the better. Sure I could get on board then but I hold my values. I cannot support someone I morally disagree with no matter how great of a product they create. I feel that I (and many others) have been lied to about this whole 2042 thing and its the last straw. For several years now EA has done things I dont like or disagree with but ive been able to look past that because its been more on a personal level or rather, preferential.
Hypothetically lets say your neighbor, who you know to be an absolute garbage person, maybe a drug dealer, has a yard sale. You buying anything from them? What about if theyre selling something you really, really want? Probably not because you have morals... You know in the end youre going to be supporting someone or something you strongly disagree with. I likely will as long as they don't abandon this game the way they did BFV. Since BFV came out I played more BF4, COD, and other random games than I have during the years of the previous BF games and while I'm still playing 2042 it's already starting to feel small and lacking to me.
In other words if they stay committed to this and fix most major issues then I will.

I will wait for reviews on the new Deadspace to make sure it's good before I buy it, other than that I don't think I'll ever buy another EA game without reviews first and honestly this game has killed most of my interest in Battlefield. I used to love battlefield games but it took way too long for them to make Battlefield 5 a good game, I didn't care enough to get Hardline or Battlefield 1, and Battlefield 2042 is such an uninspired mess so far I can't get myself to play it that much especially when I've got Halo Infinite on the other hand I could be playing which I'm loving.
I've stuck through a lot of buggy battlefield launches but this takes the cake because it's not just a buggy, terribly optimisized mess, it at its core is the least inspired and least battlefield feeling game in the series, the maps pay very poorly and the entire balance and tone of the game its lacking features, vehicles all feel super dumbed down and arcadey.
In the Xbox Series X this game rund horribly, I regularly have long periods of time where it locks up and many times this just will lead to crashing.
I will never buy a battlefield game again without positive reviews and impressions. And EA has made me actively think twice about ever buying thier products again. I have no faith they'll ever learn anything, they'll just continue to chase trends and put games on too short of development cycles to be good and polished. They should be giving refunds for this game much like Cyberpunk 2077 did.
Titanfall 3 if that ever even happens at this point I truly worry for.
@bigjonI understand where you are coming from but if you just read the reviews and most of them are bad how will you know if you like said product. There have been many movies and games that got reviewed bombed that I personally liked. And I personally like 2042 along with the Star Wars sequels.

I can watch gameplay, read reviews, and generally get sentiment from the community to inform myself.

@RiskyLifeNo. They will make no effort to fix this game and will end up abandoning it like they did with BFV. If i am wrong and they manage to somehow fix it, i will be happy.
Just do not expect miracles.
