Why not? Its all anyway getting far away from any classic Battlefield game and more now stitched together as a mishmash of so many other things than Battlefield...
Spiderman is already in, so is Wonder Woman, so is Wall Hacker Anonymous and many other super hero or super natural 'specialists'. Or should we just name them freaks.
Frankenfield 2042 is more like it..
So Zombies? Absolutely, bring them in.
Aliens, why not.
Dinosaurs, sure.
The weirder and more outrageous the better it seems.
- @CyberDyme Your sarcasm is slipping cyber! I'm sitting here playing warzone ghosts.... I'm only doing it for a bunch of unlocks I don't really want and I've cleared my SSD of Battlefield games. Got BF4 on the HDD, I'll login in a minute - nearly there with my unlocks! Don't know why i'm bothering tho. Just can't resist a challenge, but really I dont care how many ghosts I kill or how much xp I earn. Just yearning for a bit of proper play in BF2042!
Are all Zombie games about fending off growing hoards if zombies until you are overwhelmed?

It is not that I am against all these Frankenfield game types. If some wants them, fine. But it's just not classic Battlefield.
Personally my hope for BF2042 now hinges on that we can realize a good classic Battlefield experience in the Portal area with environments dedicated to either BFBC 2 or BF3. (without the superheros, zombies, aliens or dinosaurs).
So DICE, please do your job to make these working well before you start to work on your zombies. 😀

EA, do not let us down again with showing us fancy great stuff in the reveals and then not having it after all in the game when it launches!
We have come to like those little fellows and we want to play together with them in the game!
