Thanks everyone for the info. I do appreciate it. I plan to purchase within the next 2 months during the holiday sale events, so this time will allow me to continue to do a little research. The one thing about the 502 X I don't like is the noisy scroll wheel. I hate it! Other than that, it seems like a nice mouse, and I have not ruled it out. The scroll wheel on my G 403 is so nice and smooth. And it's quiet.

The Logitech G 502 X is also a pretty large mouse for large hands, if you have a smaller hand the Logitech Pro X Superlight 2 might be the better choice, and it does have the optical switches of the G 502 X .
