@OskooI_007 And still it does not help. What the game back-up will do is reset the game back to the status at the time of the back-up, if Dice rolls out an update that sets settings back to default (something they're infamous for), as soon as you boot up your backed-up game it will push to install the latest update and overwrite the settings again.

@RanzigeRidder2 If an update deletes game settings you could simply restore a backup of your game settings. The game isn't going to re-download updates after restoring game settings.

Announced:
"Tomorrow (18/07) at 08:00 UTC, #Battlefield2042 Update 5.1.1 will be rolling out via a Client Side update. A game restart may be required to continue playing around this time.
The purpose of this update is to correct unintended amounts of sensitivity when Aimed Down Sights, in connection to Uniform Soldier Aiming."

Originally I heard it was going to be a server-side update which I found odd. Now it's going to be a client-side update which makes more sense.
