So the lack of stats is really not good. A lot of BF players are stat junkies. A LOT! We have been conditioned to have a plethora of stats for our viewing pleasure. Communities have been formed around smart people using the API to gather and sort stats. Battelog was all about showing your progress with everything in the game from weapons to gadgets to vehicles. Has anyone heard if stats will eventually be made available? It is causing me to lose interest big time.

Totally man there's just nothing to strive for. There aren't even any cool skins or unlocks to play for. I'm a rank 40 now and literally can't find a reason to keep playing.Heck I haven't even been able to pilot any aircraft yet as there's no joystick support. Crazy to me that the team decides to take a month off for the holiday break with their new title on life support. I get 2 days off at my job for holiday lol.

I agree but probably not the stats you are referring to. We need stats for vehicles like lock distance, lock time, damage vs other vehicles, blast damage, blast radius, inner blast radius, damage dropoff start/end distances, turn angles, ray angles, weapon spread, engine speed, starting velocity, max missile speed and more.If you really want to have less toxicity and more enlightened discussions then you need to either provide these detailed stats in game or at least make them accessible in the game files. If you look here you'll see that every modern BF title is represented except 2042. DICE needs to make these available so the quality of discourse and feedback increases.You get the community you foster so if you want a bunch of knuckle draggers screaming hyperboles and spreading disinformation then don't complain when your message boards and reddit is filled with drivel. But, if you're serious about "positive play" then you should enable and empower your community to better understand the mechanics of the game and make available these stats. I know someone will inevitably say "But Kloud, no other game has those sorts of stats available in game!"So first, that's not true. There's a number games that do offer detailed stats like this. Not all of which are FPS and not all of which are available in game (some are in txt files) but they are nevertheless there. Even if this wasn't true though, why would not having a precedent alone preclude you from doing it? If no one ever dared to do something new we'd never have any progress and innovation!!!And I'm sure some will reply that "BF is not a milsim" or "Casual console players don't care about that sort of thing."My reply is that these are not milsim stats. EVERYTHING I mentioned above is in the game right now and matters for gameplay and understanding them helps YOU as a player better understand the mechanics of the game and ultimately makes you a better player and people LOVE stats as long as they are relatable and relevant. And BF has a LONG history of modding which is inherently tied with stats so while not every player will understand what a ray angle is for example many will be curious enough to post the question and that will spur conversation and education.If you try to remove toxicity from the game and don't replace it with something positive you will create a vacuum and it will just find a way to seep back into the game. Player stats are largely meaningless until we have a reasonably well balanced and bug minimal game. Get the mechanical stats into the community's hands and then focus on getting player stats into the picture.

I agree.I have barely played the past 2 weeks since I just lose interest without any stats to work towards.I loved playing for a weekend and then looking over all my stats. Stats are something to play for. Set goals and keep me interested.I have no idea why they chose to not include a stats page in this game. It is mind blowing that there is not even a tracker website setup for it.This is just weird. It's my own personal stats that I can see. It has nothing to do with anyone else. What is the reason for them not being in the game?

@GRiPSViGiLHonestly, I don't care about stats other than maybe time played. I've always found that stats cause people to alter their playstyle to nurse them, instead of just cutting loose and having fun playing the game. So of all the missing "features", I'm good with this one.

@GRiPSViGiL tracker.gg indicates on their website that they should have BF2042 stats available this March. Ridiculous it's taking EA/DICE that long to release API for this (not sure I'm saying that correctly) but I'm hoping it ends up being sooner than that as I agree, its a major component missing from the game.

They definitely took a step backwards when it comes to stat tracking. I wouldn't mind so much if there was a melee mastery to strive for...

Yes, with the scoreboard people forget about vehicles and team play and just forget to generally have fun. I enjoyed so many rounds where i probably had only 3-4 kills. With the scoreboard people just want to run and gun in an alley.

Yes same here, when i´m past level 60 and have unlocked all weaponds i´m basicaly just playing to finish achievements.

Yes we need stats, and a way to toggle whether they include solo/co op stats or not so you can switch to mp only stats.
Need more badges/pins too, there are a couple missing that should really be there, such as melee kills and revives.
Also need to be able to see usernames for every dogtag taken.
