Difference in players and fidelity are too great, I'm afraid. I'm hoping this won't be an issue with future titles
- Lancelot_du_Lac4 years agoSeasoned Ace@slizzard I bought the version that had both Xbox X and Xbox One versions. Have been playing the Xbox One version most often.
However, when EA added the 64 player version to the Xbox X version, I thought it would aggregate the two player bases. Wrong. I still find it easier to find a game in the Xbox One version. - xXHappy_PuppyXx4 years agoRising Ace@Lancelot_du_Lac I assume you have crossplay turned off?
no i dont. its enabled

Someone on new gen might try to break the line of sight using some vegetation and on old gen that vegetation or what ever might not be there.
Even if it was there it might not render because the draw distance is terrible on the old gen versions leaving the player visible when he shouldnt be (the player wouldn't even have a clue they were visible)

They can but you need to be playing the last gen version of the game. That's why there is a cross-gen digital bundle for new gen owners. ....two copies of the game.
This is no different than a new, made for PS5 or XBX/S game. You can't play them on a PS4 or XB1, right? Same applies here. The good news is that the progression applies across all platforms, tied to your EA account.
- Lancelot_du_Lac4 years agoSeasoned Ace@xXHappy_PuppyXx Nope - crossplay on in both versions
- xXHappy_PuppyXx4 years agoRising Ace@Lancelot_du_Lac Wow that's surprising. Everyone I group with has no issue with crossplay on finding matchs. It when we turn crossplay off that we get stuck in every server with "waiting for more players". This is on series x/s

@xXHappy_PuppyXxI only have to wait if I load the 64 player game on the Xbox X version. No problems if I load the Xbox One version.
I guess the Xbox X version of 64 players is not aggregated with the Xbox One servers.
- xXHappy_PuppyXx4 years agoRising Ace@Lancelot_du_Lac I dont think there is crossplay on the one version.. I only do series version though. Non crossplay is totally fubar for me. If I solo que it will every time get stuck on waiting for more players. Only time I can play non crossplay is is grouped.
