@Vanch333There are a few reasons that cuased the current garbage that is 2042 on next gen consoles.
1: crossplay is defualt most games have you opt in
2: the aim assit is garbage it doesnt work. There is no effective snape aim. All aim assit does it creates a slowing bubble around the target that makes it damn near impossible to keep on target.
3: Series X in particular got screwed as the abilty to toggle cross play off was disabled for the series x at release. Then when they addressed three months later the servers wouldnt start even with players in the server and it took another 6 weeks to fix. By that time a huge part of the series x player base quit do to effectively forced crossplay with PC players by Dice.
4: Dice doesn't care about console issues. We have repeatedly called for only console crossplay, to fix aim assist for console (for some reason pc players say aim assit works for them. Though when asked to show video proof they never do), to address the horrible controller imput nor do they address the massive framerate and hit registration issues on console. Ignoring requests for input based match making. Hell Dice wont even give us mouse and keyboard support for consoles.
Pretty much Dice screwed over next gen consoles. So far they have ignored us no matter how many threads we have made. Some of the largest forum threads were about next gen console issues and Dice didnt have the courtesy even once to address the issues on the forums or even a blog post.
Hi @xXHappy_PuppyXx ,
The neglect from EA/DICXE's side on the many and very substantial issues for the console players is even more intriguing and disturbing, when considering the hard fact that the vast majority of all Battlefield players are indeed playing the game on a console!
No excuse for them, but considering the very high number of bugs and missing contents/functionality in this game on day of release and still here today 6+ months after launch, its obvious this game was in an ill state all across so many areas. So in that perspective we shouldn't be that surprised either that the consoles had/have many issues still with this game, as it is just not for consoles and its not just a few things here and there. It is widespread problems across the entire range of issues you can have with an online multiplayer FPS game and BF2042 have them all...
