Yall really didnt like BFV?
This is the biggest surprise I have gotten comming to these forums. Out side of crashes my only gripe with BFV at launch was the ammo/health crates not showing on the maps when they got dropped.

i don't know if i would have liked it or not, soderland told people "don't like it don't buy it" so i didn't.
i didn't have an issue with women being in bf5 i just didn't like his sh*t attitude, his hubris is what p***ed me off.

If I'm going to be honest, this is what really led my decision to pass on BFV.
Their decision to focus on what was otherwise a small minority of people who actually were making threats, had an issue with women, etc. which was then turned on anyone having an issue with some of the less authentic elements.
I don't have a problem with women in the game and there are plenty of interesting, brave examples they could have used in history that wouldn't have felt cringe-worthy like that made up, bionic, super-like hero character they tried to portray.
Their focus on a few egregious examples of the community cast a bad light on all with valid criticism of some of these elements. The "don't buy it" remark was the last straw for me.
Another reason I passed was that I was done with WW2 shooters by that time. Had they tried to make it more authentic feeling and gritty then that might have been a different story vs the action hero/movie vibe. BF1 had that feeling to me and is one reason I bought it even though the setting wasn't appealing.
