- @Player55 Such a hard choice. But I have to go with a tie:
Battlefield 2 - nostalgia, maps, and well maps lol Best maps of the series imo.
Battlefield 2142 - Titan mode is legit next level and my favorite BF mode by far. I can't believe DICE basically dropped this mode. Talk about the perfect mode to launch Battlefront 2 with...but with Star Wars capital ships, transports, etc. No phases like in Supremacy. - rouvio4 years agoRising Hotshot
Battlefield 2 was the game that got me hooked up on the franchise. It had everything I wanted from a FPS at that time.
Ever since that era I grew to love the series and purchased ALL of the titles since the very first one.
My first BF from the company was the 1942, i loved that. Some years ago, i get the BF3, and wow, that was my favorite game, and the next was BF4, i have the BF1, BFV, BFH too, but the BF4 its my love. Modern settings its all.
- @ArchAngeL-PCX Agreed, Titan mode was awesome!

BF3 for straight up fun and weapon playstyle variety, probably a split between 2142 for titan mode (probably could have been the favorite if LMGs weren't horrid enough that i remember it to this day) and BF4 in general for second place. 1942/2 fall into the nostalgia bubble but several of the newer titles were just straight up better.
2142 is definitely my favourite of the series but I played Battlefield 2 a lot more.
Most likely have to say Bad Company 2 I had a good bunch of friends that I played it with and we played it all the time.
I missed the first couple of games, the first Battlefield I played was Bad Company and it was brilliant, hugely underrated probably because it was never on PC. There was some great maps in that and the campaign was brilliant. But I'd still say Bad Company 2 is my favourite although the campaign in the first BC is my favourite BF campaign. The rest of the campaigns just seem like they were stuck on to appease console manufacturers.
toss up between 1942 and bf2
played the crap out of both of them.
And it was because they had solo play.
I can say it was BF4 because of it's setting in modern times, satisfaction of bringing down skyscrapers gameplay and good campaign. I will add BF1 too because of it's solid gameplay set in dark times of ww1.
- @Noodlesocks 2142 was great! I logged more hours in it than any other of the Battlefield series.
