Battlefield 1 for me. Mostly because it was the first game in the series which I played.
Definitely Bad Company 2
Then BF3
And of course BF Vietnam - the soundtrack was too good :D and possibility to enable the music when being in a vehicle - just great =)

BF1942 for the WW2 setting, Assault Conquest mode and unmatched large scale battle to this day (Carrier, Submarine...).
I always said BF1942 had all the good ideas but lacked today's technology to the best !
Just need to be able to ADS, Sprint, new graphics and sounds + little bit more content (USSR side especially) and the game is almost perfect.
Battlefield 2142 was by far my favorite version of the series! Also, it was the last Battlefield game of the series released for Apple/MAC computers.

Mine would be Battlefield 2142. Nothing has really ever come close to that game since. It is a one of a kind game and it just amazing.
- @Tunsdruff I remember looking online for a way to turn off the radio on the vehicles. It was so distracting, but I did find the off switch...LOL!

for me in BF Vietnam it depended a lot of my mood, sometimes I just wanted to turn up the music volume and sometimes I did not want to have the music at all.
now as I thought about I think it was possible to turn off the music (or was it only skip to next?)
