100% CPU USAGE ALL THE TIME

100% CPU Usage

Please help. I've read so many forum posts and troubleshooted this for so long. I really can't think of anything else.

No matter what settings I run, my CPU is always at 100% usage when playing Battlefield 2042.

Specs:

CPU - Intel i5-12600K

GPU - NVIDIA RTX 3060

RAM - 16GB DDR4 

Motherboard - Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE

OS - Windows 11

all my drivers are up to date. Including Bios. 

Has anyone got any suggestions? I read quite a lot of people have had this issue, in the past.

    @apillow14 

    Is your processor overheating, causing throttling and thus lowering the CPU clock and increasing its consumption by the game?

    Where did you get the CPU load? If from task manager then ignore it as task manager will overestimate CPU and GPU usage.

    Use MSi Afterburner + Riva Statistic Server with Desktop Overlay Host (Installs with Riva Statistić Server) and see real-time component consumption and temperatures.

    @DMGG1994 Love MSI Afterburner, but sadly it no longer displays FPS in 2042 for me. I still use it for the bulk of my games though.

    @Dresta 

    FPS is not displayed, but other parameters are displayed unchanged.

    For show FPS in BF2042 u need to use Intel PresentMon
