@Rokebo73 I think it's just a joke. CPUs today are fast enough to handle multiple threads "simultaneously" (4000? Easy). "Real performance boost" will only come when you upgrade your CPU, not disable "applications, you think will be unnecessary".

@pecmeserp i did test AtlasOs , and it realy boost performance , cause minimal processes are running !
Thats why youre cpu is 100% , to much running windows processes and 3rd oarty processes in the background !
Or maybe a upgrade cpu + memory <-- will a big performance boost !

Its literally not, it is a standalone issue with BF2042, the same exact issue they had with the game several patches ago, that they fixed for a little while and things were perfectly fine (even with all the "unnecessary" tasks running on a PC XD) and then brought that problem back again, 2 updates ago... The system its running on has nothing to do with the power consumption of the game, it runs 100% full tilt on anything from a potato on ultra settings to a $10k pc on all low settings. Its unacceptable.
