Thanks for the update! Glad to read that you managed to fix the issue.
It's indeed a bit of a weird fix, as you say yourself. However, I would not be surprised that it's driver related and that you mitigate the issue by disabling the Controller in your BIOS.
Have you checked if there's a new BIOS update available for your Motherboard, by any chance?

@EA_Leeuw Yeah mate, I have quite literally done everything. When this first happened one of the first things I did was update my bios, I also backdated it 2 - 3 versions and they all had the exact same issue.
