2042 Gamepass/EA play Crashes after loading initial pb/bf title

I click launch, that little tile screen to load punk buster or something shows up, then BF disappears from taskbar and ea app opens back up. 3rd time installing trying to remedy, ran through all common troubleshooting steps

300mb/s Fibre connection
Gamepass and EA app both open
