2042 Shuts Off all my Audio on my PCUntil I Close the Game

every time i start up the game the audio shuts off after 5 seconds and wont turn back on. ive tried the drivers and all my settings and they are all up to date. i cant seem to find a fix and its driving me insane. the beta worked fine but for some reason the full game is more broken. i would really like some help with this ASAP

    Hey @Spoonz__152 To check does this happen if you sit on the splash screen once you launch 2042? Also do you keep sound in other applications once this happens? 

    Would it be possible to try a Clean Boot to see if this continues?

    @Spoonz__152 out of curiosity, did you go into your control panel--->Hardware and Sound--->Manage Audio Devices and under the playback tab and check that your speakers or headset, whichever one you use for gaming, is set as the default device? I would disable everything else in there to make it doesn't default to one of them when you run the game.

    i did that yeah and no luck. ive never had a game do this before

    I'm having the same issue.

    It only started in the last week.

    I've tried repairing, uninstalling and manually removing the folders and files left over, new download and install. No joy 

    I've been all over my windows sound settings. No apparent issues. No joy

    BF2042 is the only program that does this.
