Update: so i did a little digging into the installation directory, after having verified my files several times and steam having to reacquire them, i noticed the only 3 files that were recently "modified" (windows way of saying updated/touched) were the "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll_b", "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe_b", and the "preloader_l.dll_b". so something with these files is causing steam to fail validation and the game to crash in the middle of matches. i don't believe that it'd be my driver version either because i redownloaded and played this game literally a few days ago and day one of playing it for hours had no problems. so these files have to have been updated very recently and maybe even corrupted since they can't seem to succeed verification on steam. hope this helps to locate the problem to fix, but god **bleep** i hope i'm not wrong because that would suck if this got fixed and i still kept crashing.
Does it just crash to the desktop or do you have other funky things happening?
For example mine is crashing as well but causing both my screens to go black, discord VOIP continues to work while my entire PC is frozen.
I was able to spot an error code (Dumping Failed) that mentions the anti cheat.
I pretty much have to pull the power cord out to be able to do anything.

nah it just freezes for a second (sometimes unfreezes then audio stops for a few seconds then crashes) then HARD crashes to desktop. No popup error nothing just closes.
