I have been having this same issue. 3 files missing during the validation system puts it back together get into the game then some amount of time later same issue and again 3 files again unknown to me what files. I was going through the 2 year old thread no fix other than network or something. You posted the three files and got me thinking is it my anti virus system and low and behold my antivirus system logged ea anticheat as a virus and threat. So I opened up where my folder should be in steam and watched once I said ignore the folder that it was quarantining appear. sooo not sure this is a fix I have to test it by playing the game but wow is that frustrating.
Update for me this has been running flawless since I posted. Been a few hours of game play hope this helps you all.
i only have windows defender and nothing is showing as a threat, event viewer is showing

The game bf2042.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005validating shows the 3 files being downloaded and every time it crashes i verify and it downloads the 3 files again, i am simply about to give up the bf6 rewards and i am not fearing i will have the same issue with bf6 so i am not sure i should buy it as long as EAAntiCheat behave like that.
Have you tried completely turning real time protection off?
I also didn't notice any files being blocked but suddenly after turning the protection off and "repairing" my game the issue I was having with my PC was resolved and i've had a week of no problems since adding BF2042 folder as an exception.
