Summarize your bug A list of Battlefield 2042 bugs that I have noticed.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Reviving: try to revive a squad mate next to solid objects. AA: play with infantry AA and or Wildcat AA vehicle; play with SOFLAM binoculars as infantry. Hit registration: play the game on PC. Servers: play the game on PC.
What happens when the bug occurs? See list of bugs.
What should be happening instead? The game should work as intended.
Servers:
when joining servers at times, there are lobbies where you cannot seem to spawn on an objective or you are in a game where the game progresses no further than the last objective, even if all the objectives have been conquered.
Hit registration and super bullets:
when you play the game, a lot of the bullets that seem to hit its target, do not have any damage indicators, conversely, when you get shot, the screen information that the player gets about incoming fire seems to be delayed.
Reviving:
when trying to revive a teammate next to a solid object, the teammate can be unrevivable no matter how you position your character;
sometimes when you die, you get into a reviving animation where the animations depict the character as being in a reviving loop and the reviving countdown does not seem to work. Currently the only way to work around the issue is to leave the match.
AA:
when locking onto enemy air vehicles with an AA rocket launcher, the locking-on mechanism does not seem reliably occur. This is can sometimes happen even when you are within range of the air vehicle and without said vehicle having used counter measures;
sometimes the AA rocket launcher locks onto a vehicle that you do not have line of sight of. Then, at times, when you then left click on your mouse, you get an instant hit on the vehicle without any rockets being launched or the vehicle being in sight.
when using the SOFLAM binoculars and marking enemy vehicles of any kind, and the vehicle gets destroyed, there does not seem to any on-screen confirmation of assists or points gained from the action.
