Ran into this issue on my Series S,
While ADS with anything aside from vehicle mounted weapons, game would lag and stutter.
Solution for me was to use the X/S optimized version of the game, but I cannot play with my PS4 friends if I do.
Second solution seems to have been moving BF2042 (Xbox One version) from my external SDD to my Internal Storage.
Now I can play with friends AND no ADS lag.
