This was the last update.

I have the exact same issue, the weird thing is that the update cited as troublesome by Steeve_BF​ have been installed in my machine since Agust 12. Not saying it's wrong info, it's windows after all, but maybe this extra bit helps.
It was today that Windows updated with "KB5064081" that I can't play Battlefield at all.

Rollback necessary? And thanks in advance.

Can you follow these steps?
- Uninstall the update" KB5063878" (exemple in the image)

- Repair completely EAAntiCheat via
EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe ->https://cdn.eaanticheat.ac.ea.com/EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe

-Restart your computer and start the game

Same here.  I got the update on August 14th.  A couple of days ago I was playing fine, but now i can't start the game at all.

Some updates may cause corruption for certain users; it is completely random (Windows). For example, in my case, I have no issues, but for others, they do.🙂
But practically every problem I've investigated is related to anti-cheat.

Sadly none of them worked.

I can already see that your error codes are different, so we're making progress. I think it would be better if we looked at it together on Discord, it will be smoother, and if we find the problem, a post will then be posted here to help other players who are experiencing the same issue.

I can't even get the game to launch. I was playing it fine a week ago with no issues and not one crash. Monday I decided to reset my rig back to factory and do a fresh install of Windows because it had been running sluggish for awhile. My computer reverted back to Windows 10 then i had to do all of the updates and then update to Windows 11. After install all of my software I got to reinstalling my games. I haven't been able to launch BF2042 once since reinstalling it. It crashes every single time. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, removing the anticheat and reinstalling it. Downloading from EA and Steam, neither worked. Now i'll try Steeve_BF's suggestion.
