I see a lot of resolution changes happening in the Optons menu when ALT TABbing. though in game I see no difference. The only thing that sometimes occurs on my Intel setup is that for some reason it sets 60HZ resolution and if Vsnc is set to ON, your FPS is limited to that value.
Out of interest after talking yesterday with some other players that linked their problem to the AMD CPU, I installed an AMD Ryzen 7 3900X CPU. I was hoping to confirm their low FPS with patch 1.1, sadly I could not.
At 3440x1440@165KHz resolution with the high preset I played several maps at 120+ FPS on the RTX 3080. Swapping to Ultra mode drops the FPS by about 10-FPS with my settings, but low 80's or worse I didn't see.
I also tested the AMD CPU overclocked or not. With the 3900X cores humming along at 4400MHz+ it felt smoother than running it out of the box (3600MHz with Boost) even though the FPS displayed were mainly identical. I tested this scenario as someone made the claim that when running the CPU overclocked his FPS dropped even more, his case might maybe temp related or bad settings.
I filmed the FPS with my cheapo smartphone but youtube made the video really mediocre in quality.
Nevertheless my graphic settings are at the end of the Video. My Intel setup with the 3090 runs at */-165FPS rock steady with Vsync set to ON. The RTX 3080 doesn't reach them FPS so with this GPU I need to set the Vsync setting to OFF
